WHAT WE OFFER

The Harbour City Rock'n'Roll Club is based in Wellington, New Zealand. Its focus is on enjoying 50's rock'n'roll dancing and music.

Harbour City currently has around 200 members and its club colours are Black, Yellow and Sea Spray Blue.

Harbour City uses the Northland Memorial Community Hall as its base situated at: 5 Woburn Road, Northland, Wellington, New Zealand

  •  Practise Nights
    		• General dancing is every Monday night 7.30 - 10pm.
    The cost is $2 for members and $5 for non-members.
  •  Club Nights
    		• These are generally held on the 4th Friday of each month.

    We supply a DJ/Band and a supper, BYO drinks.
  •  Beginners Lessons
    		• A six week course is held about five times per year.
    These are held on Monday nights from 8.15-9.15pm.
    The cost is $6 per lesson or $30 for the full course if paid in full.
  •  Intermediate Lessons
    		• These are available to club members only and are held on Monday nights from 7.30pm-8.00pm at no extra charge.
  •  Workshops
    		• These are advertised in the newsletter from time to time, and cover areas such as jumps and introduction to competition.
  •  Newsletters
    		• A monthly newsletter is sent to all financial members and is full of useful information including dates of other Clubs dances in the Wellington area, social events, jokes, etc.
  •  Membership
    		• Our year runs from 1st April to the 31st March. The membership charges range from $29 per year for a single person over 18 years of age to $45 per year for a two-parent family.
